A friendly and modern Liverpool Street law firm is looking for a Junior Legal Cashier to join their growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar finance support role who is keen to build a career in legal finance.

With hybrid working, a supportive environment and clear progression opportunities, this is an ideal step for someone looking to broaden their experience within a law firm setting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Working closely with experienced legal cashiers, gaining hands-on exposure across the full legal accounts process

• Assisting with client and office account transactions

• Processing payments including CHAPS, BACS and faster payments

• Supporting daily bank reconciliations

• Assisting with compliance checks under Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)

• Helping with billing and disbursement tasks

• Liaising with fee earners to resolve finance queries

• General accounts admin and support as needed

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience working as an Accounts Assistant or in a finance support role - legal sector experience is a bonus but not essential

• A genuine interest in moving into a Legal Cashier position

• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills

• Eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team

• Confident using accounting or legal finance software

WHAT'S ON OFFER

• Salary between £30,000 and £33,000, depending on experience

• Hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home

• Ongoing training and development
