A leading US law firm with a strong City presence is looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead their finance function in London.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Leading and developing the London finance team, working closely with the firm's global finance leadership

• Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management for the London office

• Managing billing, revenue recognition and WIP across the practice

• Partnering with practice group leaders and equity partners on financial strategy and performance

• Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and other relevant regulatory requirements

• Overseeing month end and year end processes, audits and statutory reporting

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Significant finance leadership experience within a law firm or professional services environment

• Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal sector billing practices

• Proven ability to influence and build relationships with partners and senior stakeholders

• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a finance team
